Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Operations Research - Data Science professional to join our team. As an IT Operations Research - Data Science professional, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the development of innovative solutions that drive business value. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $24/hour.
Key Responsibilities
Query airline data from multiple sources and perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends and insights.
Develop Python scripts and build models to predict behaviors and recommend airline operations.
Work independently and collaboratively with teams to design and implement data-driven solutions.
Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders through clear and concise written and verbal reports.
Provide an overview of your work to Operations Research and Business leaders at the end of the project.
Essential Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Science, Data Analysis/Operations Research, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 3.0 GPA and completion of at least 2 years in a school program.
Python and SQL programming skills and experience with data analysis and modeling.
Strong analytical, leadership, written, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Commitment to safety and security, with a focus on self and others.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with AWS and AI model development.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to process large amounts of data.
Willingness to learn administrative methods and best practices in critical thinking and problem-solving.
