We're seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join our remote team in Albuquerque, NM. As a Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for inputting data, making changes to existing data figures, and updating customer information in our digital databases. **Key Responsibilities:**

As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

* Creating spreadsheets to track important customer information and orders
* Transferring data from hard copy to a digital database
* Updating customer information in a database
* Organizing existing data in a spreadsheet
* Verifying outdated data and making any necessary changes to records
* Operating common office equipment, such as scanners and printers
* Searching for and investigating information contained in files
* Performing regular database backups to secure data
* Inputting text-based and numerical information from source documents
* Providing occasional administrative support
* Sorting and organizing hard copies of paperwork after entering data electronically
* Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors
* Assisting with special projects that require large amounts of data entry
* Providing data entry support across departments on an ad-hoc basis
* Typing in data quickly and efficiently

**Essential Qualifications:**

* 2+ years of experience in data entry, customer service, or a related field
* Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
* Excellent typing skills (at least 40 wpm)
* Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Understanding of data confidentiality principles and ability to maintain confidentiality

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* Experience with database management software, such as Excel or Access
* Knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools
* Experience with data entry software, such as Data Entry Pro or KeyBlaze
* Certification in data entry or a related field
* Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
