About the Role
As a Full Stack Data Engineer on our team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our data infrastructure to support our advertising business. This will involve working with a wide range of technologies, including Hadoop, Hive, Pig, and Voila, as well as programming languages such as Python and SQL. You will also be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that our data solutions meet the needs of our business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain our data infrastructure to support our advertising business
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our data solutions meet the needs of our business stakeholders
Develop and maintain high-quality data pipelines to support our advertising business
Work with data scientists and data analysts to develop and maintain data models and data visualizations
Collaborate with software engineers to develop and maintain software applications that support our advertising business
Develop and maintain high-quality documentation to support our data infrastructure
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in computer science and data engineering, as well as a passion for working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Essential Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field
5+ years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, or a related field
Strong background in programming languages such as Python, Java, and C++
Strong background in data engineering technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Pig, and Voila
Experience with data modeling, data visualization, and data analysis
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field
10+ years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, or a related field
Experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS and Azure
Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases
Experience with data science tools such as R, Python, and SQL
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and D3.js
