Job Summary We are looking for a highly skilled Full Stack Data Engineer to design, develop, and deploy scalable data solutions that meet the needs of our business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, data science, and cloud computing, with experience in working with large datasets and developing data-driven applications. Key Responsibilities Design and develop scalable data solutions that meet the needs of our business, including data warehousing, data lakes, and data pipelines. Develop and maintain high-quality, testable, and efficient code using best software development practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to extract, transform, and load data from various sources, and develop data-driven applications. Participate in a scrum team to deliver high-quality code and reports to production, and provide visibility over plans and status to stakeholders. Work closely with engineers, product managers, and product owners to define and support stages and applications. Support, mentor, and train junior engineers to develop their skills and knowledge. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data engineering, and contribute to the development of our data engineering capabilities. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following qualifications and skills: A bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related field. 4+ years of experience in software development, data science, and cloud computing, with a strong background in data engineering. Experience with business intelligence tools, such as PowerBI, Tableau, or Microstrategy. Strong knowledge of SQL databases, including data modeling and design. Experience with at least one programming language, such as Python, Scala, or R. Knowledge of ETL tools, such as Informatica, Talend, or AWS Glue. Experience with CI/CD tools, such as GitHub, Jenkins, or CircleCI. Strong knowledge of cloud computing, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications In addition to the requirements listed above, we are looking for candidates with the following preferred qualifications: Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence. Knowledge of data governance and data quality. Experience with data visualization tools, such as D3.js or Matplotlib. Knowledge of cloud security and compliance.
