We're passionate about data engineering and committed to creating a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration. **Job Summary** As a Data Engineer (L4) - Privacy, you'll play a critical role in building strong, flexible, and protection-driven data structures that empower us to handle client personal information with care. You'll work with various data technologies, including Flash, Voila, Flink, Kafka, and others, to design and implement efficient, scalable, and powerful data pipelines. You'll also collaborate with our protection designing teams to understand item objectives and provide data that enables us to respond to client and administrative information demands. **Key Responsibilities** * Engineer effective, versatile, and adaptable data pipelines to handle structured and unstructured data * Develop a deep understanding of the data ecosystem at blithequark from a protection perspective * Collaborate with the protection designing teams to understand item objectives and provide data that enables us to respond to client and administrative information demands * Maintain and reevaluate existing datasets and pipelines * Join a dynamic team of data engineers who enhance our information protection act and mitigate legal and administrative risk **Essential Qualifications** * Strong passion for consumer-driven information protection and risk alleviation for the business * Profoundly skilled in at least one of Java, Python, or Scala with at least 2 years of programming/data engineering experience * Familiarity with advanced SQL * Experience in designing data pipelines using big data technologies (Hive, Voila, Flash, Flink) on medium to large-scale datasets * Ability to take requirements and deliver flexible data models and pipelines * Strong desire to exhibit excellence, learn new technologies, and grow your career **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence tools * Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) * Knowledge of data governance and compliance frameworks * Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, D3.js) **Skills and Competencies** * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Excellent communication and collaboration skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment * Strong attention to detail and quality assurance * Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
