You'll work closely with data researchers to identify key data sources, develop data pipelines, and implement data governance policies that ensure data quality and compliance. If you're passionate about data engineering, have a strong background in programming languages, and are eager to join a dynamic team, we want to hear from you! **Key Responsibilities** * Design and develop complex data pipelines that integrate multiple data sources, ensuring data quality, consistency, and security * Collaborate with data researchers to identify key data sources, develop data pipelines, and implement data governance policies * Develop ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, data schema frameworks, and tools for real-time and batch data processing * Create data pipelines that are adaptable, repeatable, and secure, using technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, and NoSQL databases * Investigate and resolve issues and bottlenecks as they arise, working closely with internal and external stakeholders * Communicate complex data-related information to internal and external peers, including business stakeholders, clients, and vendors * Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying new skills and knowledge to improve data engineering practices and processes **Essential Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field * At least 2 years of experience in data engineering, with a strong background in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Scala * Proficiency in SQL and experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance * Experience working with cloud-based platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork **Preferred Qualifications** * Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field * Experience with REST API development and integration with microservices architecture * Experience with Apache Spark, Hadoop, and NoSQL databases, including data processing and analytics * Experience with DevOps pipelines, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code (Iaas) * Familiarity with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
