We're seeking talented and experienced Full Stack Data Engineers to join our team and help us advance and develop our infrastructure as we strive to reach 500 million users worldwide. **Key Responsibilities:**
* Design, develop, and maintain scalable, distributed data systems and architectures that meet the evolving needs of arenaflex's microservices.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and TPMs, to drive business outcomes and deliver high-quality data solutions.
* Architect and build a strong, flexible, and exceptionally open distributed infrastructure that enables arenaflex to store, consume, and manage data at scale.
* Drive innovation and contribute to arenaflex's open-source projects, shaping the future of data engineering and sharing knowledge with the community.
* Work with open-source organizations to develop and maintain arenaflex's OSS (Open-Source Software) components.
* Develop and maintain high-impact systems, controls, and association structures that are tailored to the needs of running data systems at scale.
* Design and implement data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehouses that support arenaflex's business needs.
* Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to develop and maintain data products that support business decisions.
* Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and ensure that code quality meets arenaflex's standards.
**Essential Qualifications:**
* 2+ years of experience in building large-scale distributed systems, components, or applications.
* Strong understanding of data engineering principles, including data modeling, data warehousing, and data pipelines.
* Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or other object-oriented languages.
* Experience with distributed data systems, including NoSQL databases, message queues, and data streaming platforms.
* Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
* Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.
* Strong understanding of data security, data governance, and data quality principles.
* Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Experience with big data technologies, including Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases.
* Knowledge of data engineering tools, such as Apache Beam, Apache Flink, or Apache Kafka.
* Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence tools, such as Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Snowflake.
* Strong understanding of data science and machine learning concepts, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model deployment.
* Experience with DevOps practices, including continuous integration, continuous deployment, and continuous monitoring.
