Job Summary The Analyst II, Ancillary Revenue Data Scientist will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying advanced quantitative models and analytics products to drive ancillary revenue growth. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, develop solutions, and implement changes that drive business results. As a data-driven professional, you will have the ability to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and develop predictive models that inform business decisions. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy advanced quantitative models and analytics products to drive ancillary revenue growth Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, develop solutions, and implement changes that drive business results Perform exploratory data analysis to gain insights into customer behavior and preferences Develop and maintain code standards, libraries, and workflows to ensure efficient and scalable analytics processes Communicate complex analytical results and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders Work with large datasets, including data from cloud environments and multiple sources Develop and deploy client-driven analytics using clustering, cooperative filtering, and randomized flexibility testing Participate in peer reviews of analytical plans and code to advance revenue growth Provide guidance and mentorship to junior colleagues Assist in the transition to streaming data for several sources Requirements Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field Experience with MS SQL, Python, and other large data technologies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex results to non-technical stakeholders Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications Graduate degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field Experience with statistical analysis software and machine learning algorithms 2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in the aviation or travel industry Experience with cloud-based data platforms and tools Skills and Competencies Demonstrated ability to perform quantitative analysis and model development independently Ability to apply concepts from economics and pricing management to coding models and analytics products Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Career Growth and Learning Benefits At Blithequark, we're committed to the growth and development of our employees.
