About the Role We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Analyst to join our team as a Key Information Researcher. In this role, you'll play a critical part in directing the creation, deployment, and support of data analysis and AI (ML) model development for our attractions. You'll work closely with internal partners to deliver exceptional visitor experiences through intelligent and data-driven systems across Disney Encounters (DX). As a Full Stack Data Analyst, you'll have the chance to work on a wide range of projects, from developing and deploying AI models to analyzing data and identifying areas for improvement. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and deliver exceptional results. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain relationships with colleagues, provide idea management, and attest impact by driving activities to completion efficiently and effectively. Engage in research and collaboration with colleagues, assist in driving ML methodologies, and identify areas where business issues can be addressed creatively by applying ML. Lead and work with other specialists and data researchers to execute and effectively scale ML solutions to create magical experiences for our visitors and push the boundaries of functional objectives. Drive innovation, concept validation, innovation funding, and customer communications that lead to growing top-tier AI platforms. Manage functional support and maintenance of ML-related products and services delivered by the team. Build standard techniques used in everyday tasks and work with specialty units to plan, design, and execute large-scale projects in the AI space. Productionize ML algorithms in predictive analysis, clustering, image recognition, NLP, anomaly detection, and more, and assess their performance on real-world datasets. Collaborate with other teams to achieve goals in improving system performance, Coordinate with existing software practices that produce efficient code, including automated testing, continuous integration, code style consistency, and code reviews. Required Capabilities and Abilities To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following capabilities and abilities: 2+ years of experience in Python and predictive modeling, including TensorFlow, SparkMLib, PySpark, Light, MXNet, and more. 2+ years of experience in cloud platforms like AWS and GCP. Proficiency in SDLC, QA cycles, and Agile programming methodologies. Master-level experience in structured and unstructured data (i.e., images, video, text, etc.) and SQL social and non-social datasets. 2+ years of experience with Windstream or another data workflow management tool. Experience with version control software, like GitHub and GitLab, Model Operations, and CI/CD pipelines. Experience in driving discovery processes with partners to identify business requirements and desired outcomes, relational skills, and determination to complete tasks. Strong systems integration engineering skills, capable of transforming new tech into business solutions. Favored Capabilities While not required, the following capabilities are highly desirable: Experience with Docker. Experience with control frameworks. Experience with Kubernetes. Experience with cloud platforms in GCP or another cloud platform. Experience with Atlassian tools like Jira and Confluence. Experience with Agile development techniques. Experience with automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous deployment. Experience with data representation and data validation tools (e.g., Splunk, Plotly, Tableau). Experience with audio analysis. Experience with text analysis. Education We're looking for candidates with a Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related technical field. A Ph.D. in a related field is also highly desirable.
