About the Role We're looking for a passionate and proactive Customer Service Representative to provide exceptional support to our members via phone, chat, and email. As the voice of blithequark, you'll help members navigate our program, find the right healthcare providers, and assist with eligible claims. This 6-month contract role, starting on June 3rd, 2024, requires a scheduled 8-hour shift between 8a-8p Eastern Time. Key Responsibilities: Deliver outstanding service to members, offering education and guidance on utilizing their benefits and finding suitable healthcare providers. Follow documented best practices for handling member inquiries and suggest process improvements. Manage and organize workload using blithequark's platform and tools, including Zendesk and G Suite. Triaging and escalating complex and urgent member care needs. Maintain detail-oriented working knowledge of employer health benefits and insurance. Relay member feedback to leadership teams to improve blithequark's solution. Candidate Profile To succeed in this role, you should: Have a passion for helping people solve problems with creativity and empathy. Possess experience working in a customer-facing environment with demonstrated ability to stay calm under pressure. Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills. Be highly process-oriented, digitally organized, and resourceful. Desire to work in a rapidly evolving startup environment with some ambiguity. Be committed to blithequark's mission to improve the healthcare system. Have enthusiasm for a role with room for growth. Work in a quiet, distraction-free environment with reliable internet connection (hardwiring capability preferred). Hold a bachelor's degree (preferred but not required). What We Offer Compensation and Benefits The non-negotiable salary range for this position is $17-19/hour, with individual compensation depending on qualifications, skills, and applicable laws.
