We believe in long-term planning and procedures over short-term gains, and we're excited to have you join us in tackling complex challenges in a hyper-growth environment. **Key Responsibilities** As an Experienced Full Stack Chat Moderator, your primary responsibilities will include: * Performing SRE duties and procedures on supported services, including but not limited to standby revolutions, maintenance, change management, monitoring, incident response, capacity planning, and disaster recovery * Augmenting system uptime, availability, and reliability to ensure functional and performance SLAs * Contributing to existing documentation and building effective documentation, such as operational runbooks, SOPs, SLA/SLO * Starting and leading pre-planning/tooling/automation to streamline processes and minimize human resources * Working cross-functionally and territorially with SRE/Dev/QA/PM teams to manage incidents and improve processes * Managing and focusing on projects for high efficiency and exact deliveries **Essential Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications: * Four-year college degree in Software Engineering, a related field, or equivalent functional experience * 5+ years of demonstrated experience in software development with at least one programming language * 5+ years of experience with Linux Operating Systems, Systems Administration, Database concepts, Monitoring, and Shell scripting * Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities * Superb communication, collaborative, self-starter, and quick learner **Ideal Qualifications** While not required, the following ideal qualifications would be a great asset to your application: * Graduate degree in Software Engineering, Design, or a related field * Proficiency in any of the following languages: Python, GoLang, C++ * Experience in any of the following: SRE reasoning, AIOPS, APM, Disaster Recovery * Familiarity with any of the following tech stacks: Kubernetes, ElasticSearch, ClickHouse, Message Queue, OpenTSDB, Management Grid **Why Join blithequark?** At blithequark, we're committed to creating a comprehensive space where everyone feels valued, respected, and empowered to be their authentic selves.
