As a Business Intelligence Engineer III, you will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about innovation, collaboration, and excellence. **Role Overview** As a Business Intelligence Engineer III, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, testing, documenting, and operating large-scale data models and BI solutions for analytics and deep learning. Your primary focus will be on creating robust data ingestion routines, providing online reporting and analysis, and translating business requirements into scalable solutions within the overall data architecture. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather business and functional requirements, and translate these requirements into robust, scalable, operable solutions that work well within the overall data architecture. **Key Responsibilities** * Implement data ingestion routines both real-time and batch using best practices in data modeling, ETL/ELT processes. * Provide online reporting and analysis using business intelligence tools and a logical abstraction layer against large, multi-dimensional datasets and multiple sources. * Gather business and functional requirements and translate these requirements into robust, scalable, operable solutions that work well within the overall data architecture. * Produce comprehensive, usable data set documentation, metadata, BI reports, dashboards, and insights. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs. * Develop and maintain data models, data warehouses, and data lakes to support business intelligence and analytics. * Design and implement data visualization solutions using tools like Tableau, Looker, Quicksight, or similar. * Develop and maintain automated data warehousing environments for production reports or tables. * Ensure data quality, integrity, and security in all data models and BI solutions. **Essential Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field. * 5 years of experience in relevant fields, including 2 years in SQL and data modeling. * Experience building automated data warehousing environments for production reports or tables. * Experience with Redshift, Snowflake DWH's, and S3 or similar data lakes. * Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, Quicksight or similar. * Experience building self-serve BI solutions, canned reports, and enterprise-level BI solutions. * Data modeling experience in large data warehousing and data lake environments. * Proficiency in Python/R or similar coding languages. * Ability to draw insights from data and communicate them clearly to partners and senior management. * Understanding of data management fundamentals and data storage principles. * Experience with BI tools for ETL, including Airflow. **Nice-to-Haves** * Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field. * Experience with cloud-based data platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. * Experience with machine learning and deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras. * Experience with data governance and data quality frameworks. * Experience with agile development methodologies like Scrum or Kanban. **Benefits** At Workwarp, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes: * 401k * Employee Referral Program * Medical/Rx insurance * Vision insurance * Dental insurance * Life insurance * Disability insurance * Hospital indemnity insurance * Critical illness insurance * Accident insurance * Parental leave * Family services benefits * Backup dependent care * Flexible spending accounts * Telemedicine * Pet adoption reimbursement * Employee assistance program * Discounts on pet insurance and Chewy.com * Unlimited paid time off (PTO) for salaried-exempt Team Members * Six paid holidays per year * Paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable regulations. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At Workwarp, we believe in investing in our employees' growth and development.
