Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our team in a remote location. As a key member of our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) organization, you will play a critical role in driving business success by providing strategic financial planning, analysis, and reporting. Key Responsibilities

Serve as a key member of the FP&A organization, reporting to the Director of FP&A, and collaborate with department heads in Operations, Engineering, and Product Management to drive business success.
Partner with the FinOps team to forecast and report on AWS and related expenses, ensuring accurate and timely financial information to inform business decisions.
Work closely with R&D leaders to solve budget constraints and identify opportunities to scale the organization, driving growth and innovation.
Collaborate with executives and senior leaders to solve complex problems and plan investments in our technology platform to support teaching and learning.
Create budgets for the quarterly forecast process, monthly and quarterly reporting, contribute to monthly and quarterly variance analysis, monthly headcount planning, perform high-level and detailed audits of department costs, purchase order and invoice reconciliations.
Identify, design, and implement process improvements and technologies that enable the FP&A team to more efficiently report and forecast financial performance.
Partner with international FP&A and R&D team members to accomplish goals set by finance and R&D leadership.
Perform ad-hoc analysis as required to support business decisions and drive growth.


Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

Essential Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or another business discipline.
4-6 years of financial analysis and reporting experience.
Experience with Adaptive Insights or similar FP&A planning software.
Experience with Netsuite, SalesForce, Workday, or other comparable software/technologies.
Strong business partnering skills and prior exposure to business strategy, processes, and financial objectives.
Self-starter and quick learner, with demonstrated independence and autonomy in a high-performing work environment.
Experience in a fast-paced, growth company.
Bias towards finding solutions vs. shutting down ideas.


Preferred Qualifications

Background in tech/software/SaaS.
