Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Field Service Manager to join our team and lead our Airline steward labor force in delivering exceptional customer experiences. As a Field Service Manager, you'll be responsible for building positive relationships with our Airline stewards, providing guidance and support to ensure their success, and driving performance improvement through effective leadership and coaching. Key Responsibilities

Builds positive relationships with leaders and Airline stewards to maintain labor force commitment, responsibility, and adaptability.
Responsible for the performance-based management of large groups of Airline stewards on KPIs such as safety, reliability, customer satisfaction, and cost control.
Advances health, wellness, a safe workplace, and safe work practices.
Accountable for ensuring and addressing Quality Assurance issues such as uniform compliance, overall performance, and customer satisfaction.
Collaborates with base support staff, other departments, and internal/external partners, including the Uncertainties Representative Association Group, to provide information and answers for continuous improvements for base functional requirements and staff or managerial issues.
Participates in leader flying programs; includes in board customer and representative engagement while supporting Airline steward teams.
Proactively responds and follows up on time-sensitive matters and competing needs requiring base communication, input, as well as feedback.
Provides essential support to Airline stewards before, during, and after flight departure.
Serves as a contact and support for assigned projects within the base and division.
Discusses regularly with remote Airline steward labor force from base location.
Exemplifies Delta's Standards of the Street and guiding principles.
Practices health-conscious behaviors in every functional cycle and method.

What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Qualifications)
To be successful in this role, you'll need:

The ability to manage multiple and changing needs in a high-speed and continually evolving environment.
The ability to handle confidential information with exceptional skill, caution, and discretion.
Proven steady critical thinking abilities in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment.
Experience in training and conveying feedback for developmental purposes.
Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills, as well as time management abilities.
Proficiency with standard Microsoft Office applications.
While not necessarily Airline steward qualified, the ability to successfully complete initial Airline steward training and maintain qualifications.


What Will Give You an Edge (Preferred Qualifications)
We're looking for candidates with:

Two years' experience in In-Flight Administration, three years Delta experience, or potentially external administrative experience.
A four-year college education.
Working knowledge of internal Delta-specific applications.
