Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and energetic Co-op to join our Environment, Health, and Safety (EH&S) team as an EHS Sustainability Co-op. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about safety culture, environmental excellence, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities Assist the Central EH&S team with tracking implementation of EH&S initiatives and projects across the organization Assist the Central EH&S team with tracking and validating completion of Sustainability Best Management Practices Data entry and validation in EH&S reporting system as required Assist in investigating the feasibility of renewable energy opportunities in Collins operations Assist the Central EH&S team in monitoring of corrective actions related to EH&S compliance and audits What You Will Learn Gain additional knowledge in investigating renewable energy opportunities Learn about monitoring corrective actions related to EH&S compliance and audits Learn about sustainability initiatives and best practices for a diverse portfolio of aerospace businesses Develop skills in data analysis, reporting, and project management Gain experience working with a cross-functional team to achieve common goals Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must have: A High School Diploma or equivalent and be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline (such as environmental science, sustainability, health and safety, or a related field) U.S. citizenship, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data and draw meaningful conclusions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in an EH&S role or a related field Knowledge of sustainability principles and practices Familiarity with EH&S reporting systems and data analysis tools Experience working with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals Skills and Competencies The successful candidate will possess: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with colleagues Career Growth Opportunities At Collins Aerospace, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers. Compensation and Benefits The salary range for this role is $37,000 - $82,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
