This is a remote role that requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. If you are a detail-oriented and motivated individual with a passion for logistics and data entry, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. **Key Responsibilities** * Perform data entry tasks using current electronic or manual systems, including verifying documentation and completing required reports * Assist customers with freight and freight documentation as needed * Perform hostling duties if required, including transporting freight across the dock area to/from trailers * Recoup/repair damaged freight when necessary * Verify and complete required documentation and reports * Assist with freight handling using appropriate motorized and manual equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks * Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures * Perform other duties as required **Essential Qualifications** * High school diploma or equivalent, preferred * Must be at least 18 years of age * Prior experience in warehousing, freight handling, and/or fork lift operations preferred * Ability to count and perform basic math, with or without a calculator * Basic written and verbal communication skills * Ability to lift/carry hand freight of varying weights several times a week, to lift dock plates weighing approximately 100 pounds, and to open trailer doors requiring approximately 75 pounds of lift force, up to several times per day or more * Ability to bend, twist, squat, pushing/pulling freight throughout shift * Ability to work independently and/or as a team member * Previous dock/warehouse experience preferred **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with data entry software and systems * Knowledge of logistics and transportation operations * Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment * Strong organizational and time management skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team **Working Conditions** * Dock environment; exposure to varied weather conditions, exhaust, fumes, dust, noise * Hours may vary due to operational need * Frequent contact with service center personnel; fast-paced, deadline-oriented **Compensation and Benefits** * Competitive salary * Opportunities for career growth and professional development * Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance * 401(k) retirement plan with company match * Paid time off and holidays * Opportunities for advancement and professional growth **How to Apply** If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for logistics and data entry, we encourage you to apply for the Experienced Entry-Level Data Entry Clerk position at blithequark.
