Job Summary
We're seeking a skilled and motivated Entry Level Cook to join our team as a Culinarian in training. Key Responsibilities
As an Entry Level Cook, your primary responsibilities will include:
Learning and practicing company Food and Beverage (F&B) procedures, health department regulations, and federal guidelines
Following proper food handling and storage procedures to ensure food safety and quality
Maintaining Food Cost and Labor Cost control measures to optimize profitability
Checking the freshness of foods and ingredients, and ensuring all recipes and portion-use records are followed
Being aware of guest feedback scores and contributing to positive influence on rankings
Fostering a climate of cooperation and respect between coworkers to promote a positive work environment
Performing other duties as assigned to support the success of our hotels and restaurants
Essential Qualifications
To succeed as an Entry Level Cook, you'll need:
Basic knowledge of cooking and preparation equipment
Basic cooking skills, including Sautéing, Broiling, Frying, Roasting, Butchery, Garde Manger, Pantry, and Breakfast Cookery
Culinary education or apprenticeship (preferred but not mandatory)
Ability to stand and move at a fast pace for long periods of time
Preferred Qualifications

Culinary degree or diploma
Relevant work experience in a kitchen or food service environment
Certifications in food safety and handling (e.g., ServSafe)
