About the Program

Our Actuarial Improvement Program is a full-time, long-term program designed to foster the development of future actuarial leaders. The program provides a comprehensive training program that includes hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities for professional development. As an actuarial statistician, you will work closely with our experienced team to analyze data, develop models, and provide insights that inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

As an actuarial statistician, you will be responsible for:


Analyzing data to identify trends and insights that inform business decisions
Developing and maintaining complex models and algorithms to analyze data
Providing data-driven insights to stakeholders to inform business decisions
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions
Staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments in actuarial science


Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:


A bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail and accuracy


Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:


Actuarial science certification (e.g. SOA, CAS)
Experience working with data analysis software (e.g. SAS, Python, R)
Experience working in a healthcare or insurance industry
