Create Engaging Writing Resources: Develop and create engaging resources, tutorials, and guides to help teens enhance their writing abilities and gain confidence in various writing styles. Facilitate Writing Workshops: Organize and lead interactive writing workshops and sessions, both online and in-person, to foster a supportive community and encourage collaboration among teen writers. Provide Editorial Support: Offer constructive feedback and editorial guidance to young writers, helping them refine their work and reach their full potential as storytellers. Promote Writing Initiatives: Collaborate with marketing and outreach teams to promote writing initiatives, events, and opportunities through social media, blogs, and other relevant channels. Monitor Writing Trends: Stay updated with the latest trends in the writing industry and adapt the program to ensure it remains relevant and appealing to teen writers. Requirements and Qualifications: Passion for Writing: An evident passion for writing and a strong desire to nurture and support young writers in their creative journey. Excellent Writing Skills: Exceptional written communication skills and a keen eye for detail to provide valuable feedback and guidance. Empathy and Patience: Demonstrated ability to work patiently and empathetically with teens, understanding their unique challenges and aspirations. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities to curate writing opportunities and manage workshop schedules effectively. Tech-savviness: Comfortable with technology and digital platforms, as workshops and resources may be delivered online. Previous Experience: Prior experience in writing, teaching, mentoring, or a related field would be advantageous but not mandatory. Minimum Age Requirement: Due to the nature of the position and to better connect with teenage writers, the applicant must be at least 21 years old.
