Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service to students and university employees via phone and email, ensuring timely and effective resolution to inquiries and concerns. Navigate complex student issues with ease, utilizing knowledge of online programs, university policies, and procedures to resolve matters efficiently. Address complex questions regarding university policies, providing clear and concise information to students and staff. Develop and maintain relationships with support offices to resolve student problems and address concerns in a collaborative manner. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in new student services. Respond to feedback from the Management Team, incorporating suggestions and recommendations into daily operations. Meet or exceed departmental key performance indicators, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in student services. Essential Qualifications and Competencies To succeed in this role, you'll need: Some college experience and a background in customer service or sales. A bachelor's degree and previous experience in a contact center are preferred, but not required. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to respond to emails and phone calls within 24 hours, demonstrating a commitment to timely communication. A strong analytical mindset, with the ability to reason, analyze information, and identify potential issues. Sound judgment and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address routine and complex problems effectively. A commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace. Preferred Skills and Experience Previous experience working in a contact center or similar environment. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
