About the Role: Certified English Tutor (Remote) As a Preply English tutor, you'll have the flexibility to teach English online to students all over the world, on your own schedule and at your own price. You'll be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, using Preply's integrated calendar to schedule lessons, and accessing training and professional development through our Tutor Academy and regular webinars. Key Responsibilities: Teach English online to Preply students worldwide, on your own schedule and at your own price Create your own lesson plans or use Preply's curriculum for your lessons with students Use Preply's integrated calendar to set your availability and schedule lessons with students Access training and professional development through Preply's Tutor Academy and regular webinars Provide comprehensive materials and resources to meet students' needs Be energetic, patient, responsible, and cheerful in your interactions with students Essential Qualifications: Proficiency in English A University degree or Certificate to teach English (TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, DELTA, etc), or equivalent qualification in English language teaching Experience teaching one-on-one classes with proven results, preferably online A high-speed internet connection Preferred Qualifications: Experience providing comprehensive materials and resources to meet students' needs Previous experience working with students of varying ages and skill levels Familiarity with online teaching platforms and tools Skills and Competencies: To succeed as a Preply English tutor, you'll need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs. You'll also need to be tech-savvy, with the ability to navigate Preply's online platform and tools.
