Job Overview and Responsibilities
As our ideal candidate, you will be responsible for editing one educational tutorial YouTube video per week, with an average length of 20 minutes, although videos can range from 6 minutes to 60 minutes. Your task will be to take raw footage and transform it into a polished, professional, and engaging final product that meets our high standards. Your weekly tasks will include:
Editing and exporting one final YouTube video per week using Adobe Premier
Sequencing raw footage together in chronological order
Editing out filler words, such as "umm", "uhh", "so", etc.
Blurring sensitive information, like personal or company details, bank info, etc.
Finding and adding visual overlays to key points of the video
Screen recording and adding video overlays at key points of the video
Adding text and pop-up animations for subscription and social media (files will be provided)
Adding sound effects, such as "mouth pop" sounds, at key points of the video
Color grading footage to enhance the overall appearance
Adding background music and adjusting sound to ensure it doesn't compete with narration
Adding metadata to the video (paid training will be provided)
Exporting the video in an optimized format and uploading it to Google Drive
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
2+ years of video editing experience, with a focus on tutorial YouTube videos
Fluent English language skills
Experience with color grading and sound effects
Mastery of sound FX and background music
Proficiency in Adobe Premier and other video editing software
A strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
