Job Description We're looking for a skilled and organized Data Entry Clerk to update and maintain information on our company databases and computer systems. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and usability of our data, which is essential for our operations and decision-making processes. Responsibilities As a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you'll have the following key responsibilities: * Data Entry: Insert data by inputting text-based and numerical information from source documents within time limits, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.* Data Preparation: Compile, verify accuracy, and sort information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry. * Data Quality Control: Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible, and check output to ensure data integrity. * Research and Verification: Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents, ensuring that all data is accurate and up-to-date. * Data Program Techniques: Apply data program techniques and procedures to ensure efficient and accurate data entry.* Reporting and Storage: Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations to maintain data security. * Document Management: Scan documents and print files when needed, ensuring that all physical and digital records are accurate and up-to-date. * Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and ensure that all data is handled in accordance with arenaflex's policies and procedures. * Customer Support: Respond to queries for information and access relevant files to provide timely and accurate support to our clients and stakeholders.* Equipment Maintenance: Ensure proper use of working equipment and address any malfunctions to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications: * Proven Data EntryExperience: A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in data entry, preferably in an administrative or office setting. * Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Access, as well as experience with data programs and software.* AdministrativeExperience: Familiarity with administrative duties, such as filing, record-keeping, and customer service. * Office Equipment: Experience using office equipment, like fax machines and scanners, to perform tasks efficiently. * Typing Speed and Accuracy: A minimum typing speed of 40 wpm with high accuracy, ensuring that data entry is completed quickly and accurately. * Communication Skills: Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills.* Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail, ensuring that all data is accurate and complete. * Confidentiality:The ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and handle data with discretion. * Organization Skills: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to stay focused on assigned tasks and prioritize multiple projects. * Education: A high school diploma is required; additional computer training or certification will be an asset.
