You will work closely with our Leadership Team to develop and implement lesson plans, assess student progress, and communicate with parents and guardians. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive team, develop your skills and expertise, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of young children. **Key Responsibilities** * Develop and implement lesson plans that align with our Balanced Learning approach and meet the needs of our students * Create a nurturing and engaging learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development * Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet the needs of individual students * Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed of their child's progress and involve them in the learning process * Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and programs * Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices in early childhood education * Maintain accurate and complete records of student progress and attendance **Essential Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field * Valid Florida Staff Credential or equivalent * Previous experience teaching in a VPK classroom or equivalent * Strong knowledge of child development and early childhood education principles * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team * Strong organizational and time management skills * Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities **Preferred Qualifications** * Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field * Experience working with children from diverse backgrounds and abilities * Knowledge of child assessment and evaluation tools * Experience with curriculum development and implementation * Bilingual or multilingual skills **Skills and Competencies** * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team * Strong organizational and time management skills * Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities * Strong knowledge of child development and early childhood education principles * Excellent lesson planning and instructional skills * Ability to assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly * Strong communication and interpersonal skills **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At Primrose Schools, we are committed to supporting the growth and development of our educators.
