Job Summary The Director of Risk Management and Business Strategy will be responsible for developing and implementing risk management approaches and business procedures, utilizing business or consumer department data. This role will involve collaborating with technology and other groups on the integration and execution of risk management approaches and business procedures, as well as identifying and evaluating new data sources that could add steady productivity to arenaflex's products and services. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement risk management approaches and business procedures, utilizing business or consumer department data Collaborate with technology and other groups on the integration and execution of risk management approaches and business procedures Identify and evaluate new data sources that could add steady productivity to arenaflex's products and services Use industry and internal best practices and incorporate regulatory feedback on a case-by-case basis to drive continuous improvement in risk management techniques and systems Interpret complex analyses for technical and non-technical audiences Work with technical, scientific, business, and non-technical teams to drive business process improvements Utilize MS Excel for financial and data reporting and modeling, as well as Data bricks, Python, R, SAS, SQL, Tableau, Terawatt, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Unix Essential Qualifications The ideal candidate will have a Graduate degree in Finance, Statistics, Math, Econometrics, Operations Research, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, and experience in risk management and data analysis. The candidate should have at least 1 year of experience in each of the following areas: Risk management Interpreting complex analyses for technical and non-technical audiences Working with technical, scientific, business, and non-technical teams Cost-benefit analyses and developing and implementing business process improvement strategies Project management experience, driving business change, and reengineering systems Preferred Qualifications In addition to the essential qualifications, the ideal candidate will have experience with MS Excel, Data bricks, Python, R, SAS, SQL, Tableau, Terawatt, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Unix. The candidate should also have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
