We are seeking an experienced Digital Collections Live Chat Specialist to join our team of dedicated professionals who share our passion for sustainability and exceptional customer experience. As a Live Chat Specialist, you will play a critical role in responding to borrowers via different digital communication channels, collecting past due payments, and providing appropriate payment solutions to cure borrower delinquency.

Key Responsibilities

Communicate with delinquent borrowers via different digital communication channels, including live chat, email, and phone
Find solutions to help bring borrower's loans to a current status, providing exceptional customer experience and support
Process payments for borrowers with past due payments, ensuring timely and efficient resolution
Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly collection and metric goals, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
Maintain records of contacts and attempted contacts with delinquent account customers, as well as records of any payments collected from the customer


Essential Qualifications

1-2 years of direct experience in credit and collections, with knowledge of sales, negotiation, and persuasion tools
Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to craft clear and concise messages
Prior experience with financial products preferred, with a strong understanding of financial concepts and terminology
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
Self-motivated and extremely goal-oriented, with a strong desire to succeed in a fast-paced environment
Team player with a professional demeanor, able to work collaboratively with colleagues and customers
Bilingual Spanish/English required, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customer base


Preferred Qualifications

Experience with live chat software and technology, with the ability to navigate multiple systems and tools
Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance, with a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices
Experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively
