This will involve working with automated data feeds and manual data entry to ensure that our content is accurate, up-to-date, and engaging. You will also have the opportunity to work with our team to develop and refine our content processes, and to contribute to the creation of compelling stories and narratives. **Key Responsibilities** * Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of sports information on our various platforms * Work with automated data feeds and manual data entry to ensure that our content is accurate and up-to-date * Collaborate with our team to develop and refine our content processes * Contribute to the creation of compelling stories and narratives * Work in individual settings and in groups to deliver accurate and timely data to our production team * Create and maintain a working knowledge of our content's role in fueling our digital and television productions * Check the results of your own work and that of others, and perform with a consistently high level of accuracy * Contribute to the creation of new projects and initiatives across the newsroom, and support newsroom leaders in coordinating full- and part-time staff * Identify potential issues and propose solutions, and communicate quickly and clearly with colleagues on these issues * Play a proactive role in working with colleagues to develop or refine production processes * Be an active participant in team and office meetings * Seek and respond to feedback on personal performance * Stay up-to-date on current office policies and procedures **Required Capabilities** * Working knowledge of sports teams, players, and the rules of the games * Full-time availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays * Ability to quickly learn production processes that produce or maintain sports information that drives our digital and television content * Ability to achieve a high level of content accuracy in time-sensitive production circumstances * Ability to communicate confidently, both verbally and in writing, with production managers and colleagues about production issues and opportunities, often in the midst of a busy newsroom **Preferred Capabilities** * 1+ years of experience in sports or analytics, ideally in media * Knowledge of how sports information is used in media and for research purposes * Working knowledge of ESPN products and productions * Experience with Microsoft Excel and other Office tools * Experience leading or training a team * Ability to speak and write Spanish * Experience incorporating social media in a business or news context **Required Education** * High school diploma or equivalent **Preferred Education** * Professional education or equivalent **Work Environment and Culture** As a member of our team, you will be part of a dynamic and innovative organization that is committed to delivering high-quality content to our fans.
