As a key player in our Management team, the Delivery Director will be instrumental in driving project management practices, leading multicultural teams, and ensuring customer satisfaction across our global portfolio. Overview of the Role We're seeking an accomplished Delivery Director to join our team on a fully remote basis, working from anywhere in the world. As a Delivery Director, you will be responsible for overseeing project management practices, collaborating with our Project Management Office (PMO), and ensuring the consistent application of HR policies. Your expertise will be crucial in supporting our delivery managers and project managers, managing complex client issues, and driving effective communication between Project Managers and customers. Key Responsibilities Direct project management practices using agile methodologies for your portfolio, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery. Collaborate with the PMO to execute processes and strategies for your team of Project Managers, driving consistency and excellence in project delivery. Ensure consistent HR policies in close collaboration with Px, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment. Support your structure (delivery managers and project managers) and escalate relevant issues to the VP when needed, ensuring seamless issue resolution. Define global forecast for your project portfolio, providing accurate predictions and insights to inform business decisions. Ensure your team complies with established methodologies and processes, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. Work with Account VPs to manage complex problems with clients when needed, leveraging your expertise to resolve issues and drive customer satisfaction. Ensure effective, professional, and transparent communication between Project Managers and Customers, fostering strong relationships and trust. Secure customer and team satisfaction throughout the entire project for all your clients, driving long-term success and growth. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a unique blend of experience, skills, and education. The ideal candidate will have: A minimum of 6 years of experience in project management of software outsourcing, with a proven track record of success in Personnel, Time and Materials, and Budgets. A customer-oriented approach, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences. Budget management experience, with the ability to effectively manage financial resources and drive business growth. Software Development Management experience and previous experience as a Software Engineer, providing a deep understanding of the technical aspects of project delivery. Experience with Agile Methodologies, with the ability to apply these principles to drive project success. Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multicultural teams and drive clear communication with customers. A Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science, providing a solid foundation in the technical aspects of project delivery. Advanced English level, with the ability to communicate effectively with global teams and customers. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications will be considered a plus: Experience working in a fully remote environment, with the ability to effectively manage your time and prioritize tasks. A proven track record of success in managing complex projects and teams, with a strong ability to drive results and achieve business objectives. Experience with project management tools and software, such as Jira, Asana, or Trello. A strong understanding of HR policies and procedures, with the ability to effectively collaborate with HR teams.
