Key Responsibilities As a Data Warehouse Engineer and Developer, your primary responsibilities will include: Developing and designing DW solutions that adhere to industry standards, practices, and procedures, as well as attributes of business intelligence tools and systems. Collaborating as a team member on multiple projects, ensuring seamless execution and delivery. Creating data load jobs, scripts, and sequences, reviewing and validating data loaded into the data warehouse for accuracy. Prototyping solutions, preparing test scripts, and conducting tests and data replication, extraction, loading, cleansing, and data modeling for data warehouses. Implementing best practices in data warehouses and advising users on conflicts and inappropriate data usage. Understanding and implementing data warehouse development in multi-platform environments. Understanding data mining in a data warehouse environment, including data design, database architecture, metadata, and repository creation. Maintaining knowledge of software tools, languages, scripts, and shells that effectively support the data warehouse environment in different operating system environments. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should possess: Independently design and implement data warehousing solutions, ETL, BI, and database. Good knowledge of DBT. A degree in BE, B.Tech, or MCA. Strong experience in data warehousing, ETL, BI exposure, and database. Experience in data analytics, with a minimum of 2 years. Experience in ETL, with a minimum of 3-5 years (DBT is an advantage, or Informatica, DataStage, Azure, etc.). Basic understanding of physical and logical data models. Basic knowledge of SQL and shell scripting. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following skills and qualifications are desirable: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Team collaboration and time management skills. Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
