Job Overview
In this role, you will be responsible for developing, driving, and overseeing new techniques to ensure the growth of the business and the overall bottom line. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to create and optimize target market class models, integrate complex datasets, and publish audience attributes across various ad-serving endpoints. Key Responsibilities
Maintain and expand machine learning strategies, enabling training, and scoring at scale
Develop and own data processing pipelines, sewing together streaming, advertising, and other feeds on the terabyte scale
Transform complex data relationships into a consumable and intuitive data model
Implement modern authoring, orchestration, and monitoring tools
Work cross-functionally to ensure our data product is aligned with the goals of every strategic revenue vertical and the business as a whole
Creating and optimizing target market class models that enable us to predict and target strategic audience attributes, including brand affinity, purchase behavior, and psychographics
Integrating a large suite of complex datasets, from digital event logs to carrying event metadata, into carefully curated and reusable data models
Publishing audience attributes across an array of ad-serving endpoints
Essential Qualifications
5+ years of experience in data science or data engineering, including fluency in ML strategies and their relation to underlying datasets
Strong experience in Google Cloud, including exceptional skill in BigQuery or similar SQL-based massive data warehouse
Solid experience in Python, with a proven ability to read, write, audit, and document code
Ability to write detailed technical requirements
Innovative thinker able to working both in a strategic capacity (big-picture perspective, asks "why") and a hands-on/execution capacity (detail-oriented, conscientious)
BA/BS in Computer Science, MIS, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or related analytical field
Preferred Qualifications
Apache Beam and Apache Spark experience
Experience in data system orchestration tools (e.g. Airflow, Snowpipe)
Proficiency in keeping group projects in Git and GitHub
Experience building internal APIs

Compensation and Benefits
The hiring range for this role is $136,038 to $182,490 per year, depending on factors such as internal equity, geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
