Role Description This role involves contributing to a high-impact collaboration with a leading AI company by generating expert-level, reasoning-based data analysis samples. Analyze large structured datasets provided by partner organizations. Design reasoning-based analytics questions that require multi-step problem-solving and data interpretation. Write and validate SQL queries (using DuckDB, pandas, or Python notebooks) to answer those questions. Produce clear, human-readable explanations that articulate analytical reasoning and insights. Format deliverables into structured JSON outputs (question, query, answer). Ensure consistency and quality through peer collaboration and reviewer feedback. Qualifications 6+ years of experience in data analytics, data science, or a related quantitative field. Proficiency in SQL and Python (experience with DuckDB or pandas preferred). Strong background in data exploration, statistical reasoning, and business intelligence. Experience working with tools like iPython, Jupyter Notebooks, or GitHub. Excellent written communication skills — ability to explain complex reasoning clearly. Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related discipline (Bachelor’s minimum; advanced degree preferred).
