What You'll Do

As a Data Operations Specialist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining critical data systems that support our streaming infrastructure. Your work will directly impact the experience of millions of subscribers who rely on arenaflex for their entertainment needs. Here's what you can expect in this role:


Data Entry and Management: Accurately input, update, and maintain data across various internal systems and databases. Ensure data integrity and consistency across all platforms.
System Monitoring: Monitor data pipelines and workflows to identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner. Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure smooth data operations.
Quality Assurance: Perform regular quality checks on data to identify errors, inconsistencies, or gaps. Implement corrective measures and document resolution processes.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data processes, workflows, and system configurations. Create and update standard operating procedures.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize data entry processes, improve efficiency, and enhance data quality through automation and best practices.
Reporting: Generate reports and dashboards to track key metrics related to data accuracy, processing times, and system performance.
Security Compliance: Adhere to data security protocols and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.


What We're Looking For

Essential Qualifications:


Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in data entry, data management, or a similar operational role. Experience with large-scale distributed systems is a plus.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or similar spreadsheet applications. Familiarity with database management systems and basic SQL queries.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy in data entry with the ability to identify errors and inconsistencies quickly.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to clearly document processes and communicate with cross-functional teams.
Time Management: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Adaptability: Willingness to learn new systems, tools, and processes. Comfortable adapting to changing priorities and requirements.


Preferred Qualifications:


Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
Knowledge of Python or other programming languages for data manipulation.
Experience in the entertainment, streaming, or media industry.
Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
Previous remote work experience with strong self-discipline and productivity skills.
