About the Role: Data Entry Clerk As a Data Entry Clerk in our Supported Hunt Information group, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, quality, and reliability of our data. You'll be responsible for inputting, updating, and maintaining information into our database systems, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes and inform strategic decisions. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain robust, scalable data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and storing large volumes of data to support advertising on Walmart.com and its subsidiaries. Work on cloud platforms like Azure and Google Cloud for data storage, processing, and analysis, leveraging technologies like Docker and Kubernetes to deploy containerized applications. Collaborate with other Scrum teams, QA, Product, Program Management, and Affiliate Operations to drive project development and resolve production issues. Participate in on-call rotations to troubleshoot production issues across cross-functional teams, ensuring high availability and reliability. Design and implement data models for efficient storage and retrieval, working with relational databases (e.g., Azure SQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., Cassandra). Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: Demonstrated expertise in data engineering concepts, database design, ETL processes, and data mining. Proficiency in working with data technologies, including SQL, Python, Scala, Hadoop, and related tools and technologies. Experience with ETL tools like Apache NiFi and real-time message processing using Apache Kafka. Strong skills working with relational databases (e.g., Azure SQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., Cassandra). Experience with cloud computing services like Google GCP and Microsoft Azure, as well as distributed storage systems like Hive and Impala. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present to both technical and non-technical audiences. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following skills and experience will give you a competitive edge: Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes to deploy containerized applications. Familiarity with distributed computing services like Google GCP and Microsoft Azure. Knowledge of data modeling and data governance principles.
