Key Responsibilities Record, report, and ensure multiple types of data are input into the proper database cells, maintaining the highest level of accuracy and attention to detail. Enter information into a work order and document control system, completing manual forms as needed, and possessing a thorough understanding of document control and record files. Receive incoming and outgoing materials, transferring confidential records and documents from one software program to another, and demonstrating knowledge of photocopying and scanning procedures. Utilize excellent communication skills to coordinate activities with plant supervisors, maintenance personnel, and other team members to optimize database performance. Stay on timeline, understand deadlines, and work efficiently to meet productivity goals, all while maintaining a high level of quality and accuracy in data entry. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED, with previous experience in data entry or a related field preferred. The ideal candidate will have the ability to read and write effective reports and business correspondence using standard Microsoft Office products, as well as previous experience operating computers and using database technology. In addition to these technical skills, the Data Entry Specialist must be able to lift 50 pounds, move from place to place in all areas of production, and climb ladders or platforms while wearing all safety and production-related equipment. Excellent communication skills, the ability to work comfortably in a team environment, and a strong commitment to meeting deadlines and staying on timeline are also essential.
