Job Overview In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality data entry services, ensuring accuracy, and attention to detail. You will be working closely with our software development team to design, document, automate tests, and develop serene services at scale. As a Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, you will be an integral part of our team, contributing to the development of our test infrastructure and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products to our customers. Key Responsibilities Define and execute comprehensive server-side test plans, leveraging your strong foundation in creating or extending existing test frameworks, including JUnit and Testing. Design, document, and automate tests, utilizing your expertise in object-oriented programming and design, including Java. Collaborate with our software development team to develop and implement scalable solutions, utilizing your knowledge of social database systems, SQL scripting, and NoSQL experience. Provide and consume RESTful web services, leveraging your understanding of JSON and front-end and back-end web technologies, including HTTP, AJAX, XML, JavaScript, and CSS. Demonstrate a deep understanding of iOS, including client experience, software, and hardware, as well as strong Unix skills and proficiency in at least one shell and high-level scripting language, such as bash, Perl, or Python. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have: A graduate degree or equivalent from a recognized board or university. At least 3 years of experience in data entry, software development, or a related field. Strong programming fundamentals and a solid understanding of software development principles. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications In addition to the essential qualifications, we are looking for candidates with: Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems, such as Git, Jenkins, and Sonar. Knowledge of application security, Wireshark, and tcpdump. Familiarity with performance testing concepts and tools. Experience with cloud-based technologies and scalable architectures.
