We're now seeking an experienced Data Entry Professional to join our team on a remote basis, working closely with our global organization to drive business processes and risk management strategies. About the Role As a Data Entry Specialist for American Express, you will play a critical role in interpreting complex data analyses for both technical and non-technical audiences, collaborating with various teams to develop and implement risk management policies and business processes. Your expertise will help drive continuous improvement in risk management techniques and methodologies, leveraging industry and internal best practices. Key Responsibilities Analyze structured and unstructured data using statistical, financial, machine learning, or business intelligence techniques to inform business decisions. Collaborate with technology and other teams to integrate and execute risk management policies and business processes. Identify and evaluate new data sources (controlled and non-controlled) to add sustainable productivity to American Express' products/services. Utilize industry and internal best practices, incorporating regulatory feedback on a case-by-case basis to drive continuous improvement in risk management techniques and methodologies. Work with MS Excel for financial and data reporting and modeling, and utilize tools like Data bricks, Python, R, SAS, SQL, Scene, Terawatt, Client Acknowledgment Testing (UAT), and Unix. Participate in project management, leading business change, and reengineering processes. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Graduate degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, Operations Research, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. At least 1 year of experience in risk management, interpreting complex analyses for technical and non-technical audiences, working with technical, analytical, business, and non-technical teams. Experience with cost-benefit analyses and developing and implementing business process improvement strategies. Project management experience, leading business change, and reengineering processes. Proficiency in MS Excel for financial and data reporting and modeling, and tools like Data bricks, Python, R, SAS, SQL, Scene, Terawatt, Client Acknowledgment Testing (UAT), and Unix. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following qualifications will be considered a plus: Additional experience in data analysis, risk management, or a related field. Knowledge of industry trends and regulatory requirements. Certifications in data analysis, risk management, or a related field.
