As a Data Entry Operator, you will be an integral part of our data team, working closely with our Data Manager to ensure seamless data management and administrative support. Key Responsibilities Data Entry and Management: Insert customer and account data into our databases by inputting text-based and numerical information from source documents within designated time limits. Data Verification and Correction: Compile, verify the accuracy of, and sort information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry. Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible, and check output for consistency. Research and Documentation: Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents to ensure comprehensive data records. Technical Skills Application: Apply data program techniques and procedures to maintain our systems efficiently. Reporting and Backup: Generate reports as required, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations to safeguard our data. Document Handling: Scan documents and print files when needed, ensuring that all documents are handled and stored appropriately. Confidentiality and Compliance: Maintain the confidentiality of company information and comply with data integrity and security policies. Information Access and Queries: Respond to queries for information and access relevant files to provide timely support. Office Equipment Management: Ensure the proper use of office equipment, such as fax machines and scanners, and address any malfunctions promptly. Requirements and Skills Essential Qualifications Proven Data Entry Experience: Previous experience as a Data Entry Operator or Office Clerk, with a proven track record of accuracy and efficiency. MS Office and Data Programs: Experience with MS Office and data programs, with the ability to learn new software as needed. Administrative Duties: Familiarity with administrative duties and the ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision. Office Equipment Experience: Experience using office equipment, including fax machines and scanners. Typing Speed and Accuracy: High typing speed with a strong emphasis on accuracy. Language Skills: Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation. Preferred Qualifications Additional Computer Training: Additional computer training or certification, which will be considered an asset.
