Job Overview
In this part-time role, you will be responsible for providing designing services and support to guarantee the functional manageability of the basic framework that upholds Delta Airlines' applications, clients, partners, and merchant accessibility and security. You will work closely with the IT InfoSec Organization Security Group, which is responsible for IT support to get Inner, Partner, Merchant, and Outside accessibility to Delta and Occupant applications across various basic server farm foundations.

Key Responsibilities

Provide IT support for firewall hardware and software maintenance, including site implementations, inventories, system planning, preventive maintenance, and break/fix services in server farm critical infrastructure.
Support the IT Data Security Division to maintain the integrity and service continuity of the enterprise data and applications.
Coordinate with Delta's Business divisions via consultation services responsible for firewall policies and access control guidance.
Provide operational on-call support of critical facilities and infrastructure components for Organization Security.
Suggest and implement departmental policy, guidelines, standards, and procedures.
Ensure compliance with all governing corporate policies and regulations.
Project management of server farm and remote communication room guidelines capital upgrades, updates, and improvements.
Ensure accurate documentation, getting the best product and service costs, and ensuring that vendors fulfill their contractual commitments.


Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Strong and diverse skillset in relevant areas, including systems networking and security.
Ability to finish tasks with direction and guidance.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with the supervisory team, vendors, and colleagues.
Knowledge of systems networking and security, including TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls, and security protocols.
System administration abilities, including experience managing and maintaining server infrastructure on-premises and in the cloud.
Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve issues related to the managed security appliance and its integration with other systems.
Monitoring and security analysis capabilities to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
Customer service and communication skills to interact with end-users, understand their requirements, and provide adequate support.
Vendor relationship management skills to collaborate with the cloud service provider and ensure that service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
Continuous learning and a willingness to stay updated on industry trends and new technologies.
Flexibility to support an operation with varying shifts, extended hours, and on-call requirements.
Solid written and verbal communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications
