About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with expertise in Python and AWS to join our team. As a Data Engineer at workwarp, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge data solutions that drive business value. Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement data pipelines and architectures using Python and AWS services such as S3, Glue, and Redshift
Develop and maintain large-scale data systems, including data warehousing, ETL, and data governance
Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to design and implement data models and algorithms that drive business insights
Ensure data quality, security, and compliance by implementing data validation, testing, and monitoring processes
Work with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions with other systems and applications
Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members and contribute to the development of best practices and standards


Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

5+ years of experience working as a data engineer on complex data projects
Excellent understanding of data engineering principles, including data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL
Strong programming skills in Python, including experience with popular libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn
Experience working with AWS services, including S3, Glue, Redshift, and Lambda
Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data security principles and practices
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams


Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
Experience working with cloud-based data platforms, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Knowledge of machine learning and deep learning principles and practices
Experience working with agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git
Certification in AWS, such as AWS Certified Data Engineer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect
