Position Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Data Analytics Sales Specialist to lead our go-to-market strategies and drive business development initiatives within our enterprise sales organization. This is a full-time position based in San Francisco, USA, offering competitive compensation at $28/hour with comprehensive benefits and significant career growth opportunities.

As a Data Analytics Sales Specialist at arenaflex, you will serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives and senior leadership, helping them shape their cloud and data analytics strategies while enabling digital transformation across their organizations. You will play a critical role in understanding client needs, articulating the value of our solutions, and driving revenue growth through strategic account development.

Key Responsibilities

As an integral part of our sales team, you will be responsible for:


Executive Relationship Management: Build and maintain strategic relationships with key decision-makers and C-level executives, positioning yourself as the trusted data analytics expert who influences long-term strategic direction and drives mutual business success.

Strategic Account Development: Develop and execute comprehensive account plans that span multiple industries and business units, focusing on building sustainable accounts and expanding our market presence through targeted business development initiatives.

Solution Consulting: Work closely with clients to identify high-impact use cases appropriate for arenaflex's data and analytics solutions, articulate key solution differentiators, and quantify measurable business impacts that demonstrate return on investment.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal product teams, engineering, legal, procurement, and business development groups to negotiate and execute complex enterprise agreements that meet both client needs and organizational objectives.

Partner Ecosystem Management: Lead go-to-market efforts with strategic partners, coordinating with technical teams to develop and drive pipeline opportunities while providing expert guidance on solution implementation and deployment.

Business Case Development: Partner with solution architects and client technical teams to construct compelling business cases and implementation plans that address specific client challenges and opportunities.

Market Intelligence: Provide feedback to Product and Global Solutions teams to inform product roadmap decisions and continuously improve our offerings based on market demands and client requirements.


Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have:


A Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (advanced degrees are a plus)
A minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis, data warehousing, or data management programming
Demonstrated success in planning, pitching, and executing enterprise sales strategies that drive measurable revenue growth
Proven experience negotiating business and legal agreements with procurement teams, legal departments, and business stakeholders
Strong track record of working with technical teams and architects to develop business cases and implementation proposals
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution capabilities
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex sales cycles


Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following experiences and skills will give you a competitive edge:


Comprehensive experience with the complete data lifecycle, including data storage, data processing and analysis, data archiving and maintenance, and data governance and security
Familiarity with cloud-based data and analytics platforms such as BigQuery, Looker, Dataproc, and similar enterprise solutions
Demonstrated ability to design and execute business and client transformation strategies aligned with data and analytics initiatives
Experience selling to or working with enterprise clients in multiple industries
Knowledge of competitive cloud platforms and emerging analytics technologies
Understanding of modern data architecture patterns and best practices
Previous experience in a consultative or solution-selling environment
