About the Role
As a data analyst in our Transportation Analytics crew, you'll be responsible for:
Working with large, messy, disparate datasets to perform ad-hoc analyses and provide critical insights to our transportation team
Developing data visualizations to display and quantify the impact of changes and specific business challenges
Engaging with cross-functional teams to establish credibility and analyze stakeholder needs
Leveraging scripting languages (Python preferred) to automate reporting tasks and improve efficiency
Documenting your processes and sharing your expertise with colleagues, mentoring them as you become a Subject Matter Expert
Key Responsibilities
To succeed in this role, you'll need to:
Have excellent SQL skills, with the ability to govern data from multiple tables while maintaining integrity
Be creative with a User Experience basis to develop impactful Tableau Dashboards
Have business operations fluency, with the ability to recognize and root-cause business problems
Have excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, we're looking for candidates with:
Advanced experience with SQL and Tableau
Experience with e-commerce operations or parcel service operations
Experience with Python or other scripting languages
Experience with data manipulation tools, such as Knime, Alteryx, R, Tableau Prep, etc.
