You will work closely with technology on business needs and data storage services to meet department demands. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving business decisions through data-driven insights, and you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from everyday operational files to high-level metrics. **Key Responsibilities** * Create new, modify existing, and execute ad-hoc reporting in support of business procedures and data-driven decision making * Develop relevant dashboards on Power BI and Excel * Create robust Data Quality specifications and controls to ensure data integrity and access * Handle and produce new records pipelines from source devices to the Data Warehouse * Work closely with Monitoring and Business Analysts to identify business requirements, maintain complete documentation, and obtain business sign-offs for all reporting requirements * Generate, sustain, and cultivate scalable records pipes and data design * Utilize data storytelling principles to create clear and impactful data visualizations using Power BI * Aid in automating existing business procedures and improving exception-based reporting * Collaborate with IT and BA's to investigate, research, and obtain new data variables (data exploration) * Analyze large datasets to identify meaningful patterns that provide actionable results * Evaluate data acquired from multiple sources and resolve discrepancies * Validate data for accuracy by confirming against standards * Research data errors and remediate poor data * Join the Data Governance plan by updating the data dictionary and plan & procedures * Analyze and affirm metrics are effective and provide comments to division innovators of styles that require attention **Essential Qualifications** * 2+ years of experience in in-depth data analysis * Solid experience working with PowerBI * Proficiency in working on various reporting tools like Dimensions, Measures, Filters, Calculated Fields, improvements, guidelines, provisional formatting, DAX queries, Interactions, etc. in Power BI * Knowledge of DAX, SQL, M Code * Proficiency in SQL, able to create complex SQL to generate files and analytics * Experience with ETL tools including SSIS, PowerBI Dataflows, or other Big Data integrations * Solid data modeling experience using star schema or other methods * Problem-solving through statistical analysis with large data sets highly suitable * Expertise with SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio), Power BI, and Power Query * Familiarity with Smartsheets * Strong effort in the progression and timely completion of projects and deadlines **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or D3.js * Knowledge of data governance principles and data quality standards * Familiarity with cloud-based data storage solutions like Azure or AWS * Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes * Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and data architecture * Familiarity with agile project management methodologies **Skills and Competencies** * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously * Strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices * Familiarity with data storytelling and presentation techniques **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** As an Experienced Data Analyst at blithequark, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from everyday operational files to high-level metrics.
