As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to inform business decisions and drive growth. You will work closely with our business stakeholders to understand their needs and develop data-driven solutions to address their challenges. Your expertise in business intelligence and financial modeling will be essential in helping us to optimize our business processes and make data-driven decisions. **Key Responsibilities** As an Experienced Data Analyst, you will be responsible for the following key responsibilities: * Building a deep understanding of costing and resourcing data related to our internal groups and functional partners * Supporting the coordination of high-speed projects that normalize and advance financial cycles across the organization * Supporting internal business work processes, such as administration costing, labor force management, and asset planning * Working with different data systems and delivering ad-hoc analysis and reports to support business needs, research, and emergency response * Archiving work processes connected with key cycles, data collection and maintenance, including tracking significant decisions and changes * Working with Data Architects and system designers to help documentation and executions of data set plans * Building vital dynamic structures and writing scripts that help us automate and expand * Gifted in refining insights from data and combining and making compelling storytelling for executive audiences * Supporting Planning and Delivery Activities with impromptu demands from our partners **Essential Capabilities** To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential capabilities: * 3+ years of experience in informatics, data analysis, data science, or technical fields * Bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as Information Science, Statistics, Business Finance/Accounting, Informatics, or Software Engineering * Experience working with data and data control software like R, SQL, Python; building dashboards using tools like Tableau, Looker, Airtable, Smartsheet * Understanding of social data set plan and capability * Strong math and analytical skills * You are an exhibited self-starter and you give solid critical thinking, unwavering discernment, and conveying, and extraordinary direction * Successful collaboration and time management abilities * You carry areas of strength for a to detail, with a capacity to make a stride back and grasp the master plan * You have astounding written and oral communication skills * A showed capacity to work with design delivery groups to examine technical ideas * Experience with Success, Smartsheet, or potentially AirTable **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: * Master's degree in a technical field, such as Information Science, Statistics, Business Finance/Accounting, Informatics, or Software Engineering * Experience working with cloud-based data platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure * Certification in data analysis, data science, or business intelligence, such as Certified Data Analyst (CDA) or Certified Business Intelligence Analyst (CBIA) * Experience working with data visualization tools, such as Power BI or QlikView **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** As a Data Analyst at Disney Amusement and ESPN Innovation, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects and develop your skills in business intelligence and financial modeling.
