Your expertise will help define what questions should be asked and scale analysis methods and tools to support our growing business. Key Responsibilities Work with members of our platform and services teams to guide them towards better decision-making from available data Advance data and insights by managing communications with partners and different teams, collaborating with stakeholders to complete data projects, and ensuring all parties can utilize the insights to drive progress Maintain a customer-driven focus while being a subject matter expert through data, fostering trust among peers, and ensuring that teams and projects have access to data to decide Manage ambiguous issues and adapt tools to address complex questions Identify trade-offs between speed and quality of different approaches Develop logical frameworks to measure team achievement by collaborating with teams to establish success metrics, creating ways to track data, and analyzing errors Operationalize data cycles to provide partners with ad-hoc analysis, automated dashboards, and self-service reporting tools so everyone has a clear understanding of the state of the business Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have: 3+ years of experience in a consumer web business, or in a high-speed, high-growth product or team Expert SQL skills and proficiency in Python/R Experience using data to create understanding and drive business results Familiarity with data analysis and communication around data, including time series analysis, experimentation, data visualization, and defining the KPI process for your business Excellent collaborative person with the ability to maintain relationships Bachelor's degree Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Passion for online communities, gaming, and streaming platforms Experience in Operational Excellence, defining metrics, and analysis reporting Experience working with software development and operational event data Experience with machine learning techniques, such as logistic regression, decision trees, and neural networks Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
