Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst and Examination Lead to join our team at arenaflex. As a Data Analyst and Examination Lead, you will play a critical role in supporting our paid media investigation capability to surface data-driven key opportunities for the Chief Authority group, focusing on optimizing our paid media spend globally. You will work closely with marketing teams to identify ways to improve the efficiencies of our paid media spend and develop reporting and analyses to inform and drive decisions. You will also foster KPIs and scorecards to track drive progress/performance and drive an emphasis on results and execution. Key Responsibilities Deliver reporting and insights in the space of paid media to inform business decisions and drive growth Design and build/lead the development of analysis, BI, and data science expectations to enhance visible paid media and improve marketing efficiencies Collaborate with paid media data science teams and marketing teams on implementing media mix models Conduct ad-hoc analysis through database querying, followed by smart interpretation of results and the design and communication of recommendations that drive action Act as a partner with marketing, finance, and data product teams to tackle business challenges and track marketing and product performance with a data-driven approach Leverage Structured Query Language (SQL), MicroStrategy, Tableau, Excel, and other reporting tools to create and maintain scheduled and ad-hoc reports Analyze data to identify business issues and lead deep dives to perform root cause analysis Collaborate with stakeholders to leverage data (internal data from arenaflex, as well as external data from market research and marketing firms) and address complex business challenges by delivering meaningful insights Brainstorm and run analysis that generates insights on customer behavior and customer needs to help further develop and improve our value proposition Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have: Experience in the area of Business Intelligence, Analysis, or Consulting in an e-commerce environment or related field Advanced SQL experience Advanced experience with at least one industry analysis and metrics perception tools (e.g., Tableau/QuickSight/PowerBI) Proficiency in Excel with a proven track record Degree in data science, business, economics, information technology, statistics, mathematics, or other related field Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: You enjoy working in a team of highly engaged individuals You have a passion for numbers, data, and statistics, but also for delivering high-quality analysis and insights Strong inclination for action, highly organized, and ability to complete tasks and projects with minimal direction and tight deadlines Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate with both business leadership and technical teams effectively Experience with subscription-based or media content organizations Experience with and/or interest to learn more about cutting-edge data science approaches Programming languages: knowledge of Python Knowledge of other programming languages, such as Java or C#, or of statistical programming languages like R or SAS Knowledge of Adobe Analytics Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for growth and development.
