Summary ofKey Responsibilities • Create, design, execute, and direct a variety of security platforms such as SEIMs, IDS/IPS, Endpoint Security tools, Firewalls, WAFs, Encryption/HSMs, DDOS services, configuration management tools, vulnerability scanners, PKI, and more. • Maintain and improve cybersecurity services related to documentation, updates, policy management, and identify automation potential opportunities.• Identify and propose improvements to gaps in bolthires' security practices. • Ensure documentation for managed platforms/services is detailed, accurate, and up-to-date. • Collaborate with internal architects to ensure platform objectives and security arrangements are designed to meet business strategy and requirements. • Participate in on-call operational exercises in case of an emergency. • Act as a mentor and escalation point for less experienced team members. Essential Qualifications To excel in this role, you should have: • Experience working in related technical roles, with a focus on framework security or data security.• A technical understanding of modern cybersecurity technologies and threats. • Previous experience managing and operating a wide range of security platforms. • Experience working in a hybrid cloud environment. • Excellent critical thinking skills and a willingness to learn new technology concepts. • Adaptability to handle changes and a proactive approach to challenges. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge: • Certifications like CISSP, CISM, CIPM, or others focused on cybersecurity.• The ability to automate tasks and engage with APIs using common scripting languages. • Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements like SOX and PCI.
