As a Customer Support Specialist for Medical Records Processing and CPC Processor, you will play a critical role in our mission by providing exceptional support to patients, insurance companies, and attorneys, ensuring seamless medical record requests and status updates. Key Responsibilities Process medical record requests by taking calls from patients, insurance companies, and attorneys to provide medical record status updates. Document information in multiple platforms using two computer monitors, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Work comfortably in a high-volume production environment, meeting productivity standards while maintaining quality. Utilize Microsoft Office (including Word and Excel) proficiently to manage and analyze data. Collaborate with the team to achieve shared goals and objectives, contributing to a positive and supportive work environment. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need: Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to empathize with patients and provide clear, concise information. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Word and Excel) and the ability to learn new software applications quickly. Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume call center environment with a strong focus on productivity and quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and mutual support. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Previous experience in a call center or customer-facing role, preferably in a healthcare or medical records environment. Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare regulations, such as HIPAA. Experience with electronic health records (EHRs) or other healthcare software applications. Certifications or training in customer service, medical records, or a related field.
