Your interactions will focus on software navigation and locating previous tax returns and amendments, requiring a empathetic approach, critical thinking, and multi-tasking capabilities. You will also be responsible for escalating issues when necessary. **Schedule and Compensation** * **Seasonal contract**: This contract runs through April 15th, 2024. * **Flexible schedule**: Create your own schedule, with availability between 7 am and 11 pm CST, Monday - Sunday. * **Compensation**: Earn up to $19 per hour, with contractors meeting or exceeding key metrics earning an average of $16-$19/hour during peak times and $15.60-$17.50/hour during non-peak times. **Required Skills and Qualifications** * **Sincere desire to assist the customer**: A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. * **Tech savvy and avid computer user**: Proficiency in using computers and navigating multiple systems. * **Ability to multi-task and navigate multiple systems**: The capacity to handle multiple tasks and systems simultaneously. * **Communicate with a friendly tone and professional demeanor**: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey a friendly and professional tone. **Technology and Equipment Requirements** * **Personal computer**: A dedicated computer (no tablet) with a wired internet connection (no wi-fi or mobile internet). * **Broadband internet connection**: A minimum of 10 MBPS. * **Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system**: A valid operating system. * **Valid antivirus software**: Up-to-date antivirus software installed and running. * **USB headset with microphone**: A high-quality headset with microphone. * **Webcam**: A webcam will be loaned to each contractor for the duration of the contract. **Work Environment Requirements** * **Quiet, uninterrupted space**: A dedicated workspace with minimal distractions. * **Organized desk area**: A tidy and organized workspace. * **Professional appearance**: A professional appearance, if on camera. **Important Information** * **Application process**: When ready to apply, click "Apply" and complete your profile.
