Typical Assignments
In this developing and learning capacity, you will perform a variety of tasks designed to enhance your customer service skills and knowledge. Typical assignments include:
Researching inquiries by accessing our claims processing system and other informational sources to provide accurate and timely responses to customers.
Responding to customer, group, and provider questions through telephone contact and/or written communication, utilizing proper etiquette, grammar, and punctuation.
Maintaining related departmental records and files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Operating office equipment, which may include a personal computer, calculator, copier, fax machine, etc., to perform daily tasks efficiently.
Making corrections to claims and eligibility, ensuring that our customers receive the correct information and support.
Entering new claims, eligibility, and subscriber information into our mainframe system, contributing to the smooth operation of our services.
Reviewing subscribers' coverage to determine the type and level of benefits, providing personalized support and guidance.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following minimum requirements:
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating your foundational knowledge and commitment to education.
Have one year of customer service experience in a business environment that requires the use of a computer program to assist customers, preferably in a call center, and/or dental experience, showcasing your ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting.
Successfully complete our customer service simulation test with a minimum score of 62 out of a possible 100. Note that this assessment may be waived if you have previously passed the test while at arenaflex or if you have previously held a Customer Service Trainee, Customer Service Advisor, or Customer Service Associate position.
Be available to work the assigned shift, either starting at 8:25 a.m. or working until 6:30 p.m. for the first shift, or beginning work at 11:00 a.m. or working until 12:00 Midnight for the second shift, Monday through Friday.
