About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Customer Service Support Representative to join our Patient Customer Service department within the Revenue Cycle Management Division. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch support to patients, doctor's offices, and private insurance carriers, resolving billing issues, and driving exceptional customer experiences through innovation and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities


Handle a high volume of inbound calls (80+ per day) from patients, doctor's offices, and private insurance carriers, providing timely and effective solutions to their inquiries.
Initiate payment plans for patients with outstanding balances, ensuring a positive customer experience and improving revenue cycle management.
Utilize multiple resources to resolve patient inquiries while on the phone, demonstrating a strong ability to multitask and think critically.
Maintain performance goals and adhere to productivity standards, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional customer service.
Become proficient in our processes and systems after completing a structured training program, demonstrating a willingness to learn and grow.


Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:


A High School Diploma or equivalent, with previous medical and/or call center experience being a plus.
A dedicated work-from-home space, with the ability to manage time and tasks independently while maintaining productivity.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to navigate multiple computer screens and applications, and alpha-numeric data entry proficiency.
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to perform successfully in a team environment and demonstrate excellent organization skills.
A reliable internet connection with a download speed of at least 50 megabytes per second, and the ability to connect equipment to a router/modem with an Ethernet cord.


Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in a customer-facing role, particularly in the healthcare or financial services industry.
Familiarity with medical billing and insurance processes, or a willingness to learn.
Proficiency in multiple software applications and systems, with the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
